LG Optimus L3 is the first phone in the new L-line by LG which is both style conscious and inexpensive. The handset has a typical rectangular shape and overall has better looks than any other average entry level Android smartphone. The body of this low end smartphone has plastic touch and has a touch screen with two touch sensitive buttons at the bottom along with a physical home button at the center. The two sensitive buttons are basically menu and back keys that resides on the both sides of the centre button and the homescreen is customizable where you can create widgets according to your choice which comes into operation with the single touch by your finger. LG Optimus L3 comes packed in a size of 102.6 mm x 61.6 mm x 11.9 mm and weighs only 110 grams, giving credit to the all plastic body that makes this device pretty handable for a very long time without straining the muscles of your palm. LG has differentiated this budget Android handset by spotlighting its sharp, minimalist design, reflecting a consistent feel that the company has deployed across the L-Style range and is available in complete black and soft white colors. On top of the phone, there is a simple Power/Lock key and a standard 3.5mm headphone socket, while at the base is a regular microUSB port. A volume rocker is provided on the left side of the device and at the back there is a battery compartment along with L3 low-key and flash free 3 MP camera with a cool metallic design around it. There is a microSD slot also, but that is hidden away under the back panel. Though LG Optimus L3 is a low end device, but at the same price other smartphones are also available in the market that have better features and functions than LG Optimus L3, for example, Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos and Samsung Galaxy Y that have better screen resolution, good camera features and good browsing and connectivity speed. LG Optimus L3 lacks flash option in camera with lots of features missing and the screen of this smartphone also does not have a clear resolution for the display.
