Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India's largest communication service provider, has recently launched the pan-India BSNL postpaid bill payment and GSM mobile top-up with easy recharge services collaboration with Union Bank of India (UBI). The BSNL subscribers now can easily pay postpaid connection bills or top-up their mobile phones through mobile banking and ATMs of UBI. Mr. Kuldeep Goyal, CMD, BSNL said that the service is a latest convenience offering for the common customers of UBI & BSNL, using the ubiquitous cell phone & ATMs.
India's leading Broadband connection and Data card providers, BSNL and Relaince have reduced the prices of USB modem and Data card in India. It has happend because of increasing numbers of internet users in the country. Both the companies are now offering data card in prepaid and postpaid plans with some fascinating offers. BSNL data card has been decreased from Rs. 3500 to Rs.2500 with free data usage of 6GB per month for first two months; Out of 6GB, 1GB can be used in day time while the rest 5GB should be used at night. BSNL tariff plans starts from Rs.249 to Rs. 2499 & also offers unlimited data plans. Apart from it, Relaince is not offering any unlimited data plans at the moment which is sad. BSNL 3G data card generates speed upto 3.6MBPS and 7.2MBPS for some devices.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is surrounded by really a big controversy these days. All reputed major mobile phone service providers is not paying correct roaming charges to BSNL. The company has announced estimates total losses cost at around Rs. 300 crore and already issued bills in six circles across the India for the recovery of Rs. 150 crore. The company argues that all service providers have to pay Rs. 25 a month for each subscriber, who is roaming and using BSNL infrastructure since 1997. As per the sources BSNL wish them to pay for all subscribers, who are registered for the roaming service. According to the agreement terms, when the subscriber is actually roaming than they have to pay.
