Back in the month of March, we heard that Huawei Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 smartphones have been flashed on some online portals for booking and their launch was presumed to be in the first week of April 2013. By now, both the smartphones have been launched officially at the price rate of INR. 10,990 for Ascend G510 and INR 7,980 for Ascend Y300. Both these droids procures attractive features and are categorized into entry-level smartphone category. People who had already pre-ordered the smartphones will now be getting their delivery soon at their door steps.
Recently, Huawei has attracted many folks from the news arena by introducing two entry level smartphones in the Indian market. A month back, these smartphones were flashed at the MWC 2013 and, now, they are available for pre-order on some online portals. Dubbed as Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300, both these smartphones have virtuous specifications and are priced roughly at around Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 8,000 respectively. Appended to the Ascend series of Huawei, both of the novelties pack features similar to their siblings Ascend G600, G330, and G300.
Chinese mobile maker, Huawei, has officially announced its newest smartphone, dubbed as Huawei Ascend P2, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Considered as a successor of Ascend P1, Huawei P2 holds up scaled specifications, newer body profile and supports LTE connectivity. Remarkably thin and light, Huawei Ascend P2 supports LTE network and attempts up to 150Mbps speeds, as claimed by the company. The device sports a large 4.7inch IPS HD in-cell touch (1280×720 pixels) display coated with Corning Gorilla Glass, quiet similar to Samsung Galaxy S3.
After bringing a revolution in the smartphone arena at the CES 2013 by launching Huawei Ascend Mate that has the world's largest 6.1 inch display uptil now, along with the dust free and water resistant Ascend D2, this Chinese multinational giant again scented the air with the rumors that the company might launch Huawei Ascend W3 with Ascend P2 and W2 at an event on 24th February, ahead of MWC 2013 and now it has again entered into the world of rumors with the expected launch of a pint-sized version of Ascend P2 – Huawei Ascend P2 Mini. Both the versions are expected to have interaction with the whole world on 24th February, for which we have already seen a leak shot of Huawei Ascend P2 images on some trusted sites. The company seems to be a good competitor for the existing major players like Samsung, who has just launched its one of the best creations, Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos and Apple, who is planning to unveil the next generation Apple iPhone 5S during summer breaks.
Huawei already has launched some great flagship smartphones at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) earlier in January this year. At the event, the Chinese manufacturer revealed Huawei Ascend Mate with 6.1-inch screen that becomes the largest Android phone available along with the Ascend D2, known for its water-resistant design and high performance and lastly, the low-cost Windows Phone 8-running Ascend W1.

The Chinese telecommunication multinational company, Huawei Honor, has sprung up with another handset in smartphone series, Huawei Honor, based on Android v.2.3 Gingerbread operating system. This new smartphone, which was announced back in September last year, is expected to hit the shelves by the first week of April. It is rumored that Huawei Honor will also get the latest edition of Android v.4.0 ICS OS in the future but it is just a rumor so we cannot depend on it. According to the company, Huawei Honor is totally a customised handset which is developed according to the needs of the Indian customers and has now been listed as an upcoming device on one of the online shopping site. Huawei Honor will be available at a price of Rs. 19,990 and with this price it is expected to hit the mid-ranging segment of smartphones.
Huawei Ascend D Quad was first seen at World Mobile Congress 2012 meet that was recently held at Barcelona, Spain. According to a Chinese website Huawei Ascend D Quad will be visible at retailer shelves by July 2012. But there are some news inputs that are coming which reveal that the production of Ascend D Quad mobile handsets from Huawei, will be manufactured in large volumes, which might lead to slight delay. So the exact date of availability is not known yet exactly. There is also a buzz that is spreading around that Huawei Ascend D Quad would first released in Chinese mobile market, and on later stages this will be hitting the other parts of international market.
Huawei MediaPad 10 can make its first appearance at Mobile World Congress (MWC), at Barcelona, Spain. According to the leaked pictures this MediaPad 10 looks quite impressive. If we closely observe the pictures leaked MediaPad 10, it looks like this tablet has a thin steel frame on the sides. Huawei MediaPad 10 has a complete metal body with plastic cutouts, which will enhance the reception of 3G and WiFi. The design is quite similar to HTC Legend.

A couple of days ago, Toshiba launched world’s slimmest tablet and now is the chance to launch the slimmest Smartphone. However, this isn’t launched by Toshiba but, Huawei. This offering by Huawei is known as Huawei Ascend P1 S, which measures just 6.68 mm thick. With this hot figure, Huawei Ascend P1 S beats Motorola RAZR, which is 7.1 mm in thickness.
