While unveiling three new Android tablets, the Chinese manufacturer, Lenovo, announced that these tablets will meet the demands of those active customers wanting for extreme mobility and high functionality. The line-up includes three tablets dubbed as Lenovo A1000, A3000 and S6000. The portfolio for these tablets will be available starting from the second quarter of this year.
Lenovo has introduced another Android smartphone, dubbed as K900 at the technology conference (CES). The handset runs on Intel’s 2GHz Atom Z2580 processor, Clover Trail+ and features 5.5-inch touchscreen display that delivers 1080p full HD resolution, making it one of the largest display smartphones in the world. Lenovo packs the K900 with 13MP camera with f1.8, dual-flash and full HD video recording capabilities in addition to front snapper with 88-degree super wide viewing angle. Based on Google’s Android Jelly Bean OS, the new IdeaPhone K900 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, but you can expand the external memory using a microSD memory card slot. The handset measures just 6.9mm in thickness and comes made up of stainless steel alloy and polycarbonate material with a Gorilla Glass 2 coating on the display.
Looks like the companies all around the world are in a tech-inspired trance. Everybody from Apple to Microsoft has either already launched new products, or is readying an impressive line-up for 2012. The latest one to join this growing list is Lenovo. This Chinese IT and electronics major has launched three new Android 4.0 tablets. Each of the 7, 9 and 10.1 inch IdeaTab comes loaded with such powerful specifications that will not fail to wow the gadget lovers of the world. The first, and the smallest, in terms of size, is the IdeaTab A2107. With a 1GHz dual-core ARM cortex A9 processor powering this 7” tablet, which sports a 1280X600 resolution, you can be sure its a definite gem. This dual-sim tablet also has front and rear cameras, an FM tuner, and an optional 3G radio. It will also include a Micro-USB port and microSD card slot. To be offered in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB variants, the little one is expected to be out by November.
Some days ago, there were reports that Lenovo will be launching the Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich OS along with the ThinkPad tablet sometime around in the months from April to June. To add to that the company has now announced that the Lenovo IdeaPad tab would also get the ICS update. As is known through information available till now, the updated version will probably arrive in the country somewhere in the middle of the year around May.
The competition between Android tablets is getting higher day by day. First it was Samsung that launched Samsung Galaxy Tab that took the entire mobile market with a storm, and then came in Acer. Recently at CES, Toshiba launched the world’s thinnest tablet, Toshiba Excite X10, which received pretty exciting review there. Now the Chinese manufacturer, Lenovo revealed its IdeaTab S2 along with S2 Smartphone at the CES. However, when asked about the official launch, the company refused to give any exact date.
One more Android 3.0 Honeycomb operated tablet is going to be launched in the market by Chinese Multinational technology giant Lenovo. The company is all set to launch its most powerful tablet with name of Lenovo ThinkPad by the month of July this year.
