Lately heard, LG Optimus L5 II Dual. which had first hit Brazil, has now landed in India via online retailers at a price tag of Rs 11,500. This news has been reinforced by the fact that some online retailers have flashed this droid on their pages. LG had previously surfaced its L5 Dual at MWC 2013 and the smartphone eventually went on sale globally starting from Brazil. Indian users will be soon able to get their hands on LG Optimus L5 II Dual smartphone. Lately, a few weeks ago, LG Optimus L3 II Dual and the Optimus L7 II Dual were launched in India at the price rate of 8k and 15k respectively.
After the launch of Optimus G, it was believed that LG will soon start working on the new handset or a successor of Optimus G. Rumoured as Optimus G2, this new smartphone has just appeared on a benchmarking site, which also revealed some of its specifications. Well, this is just a leak and it has left new gossips around the smartphone arena. Notably, LG Optimus G sports a 4.7-inch IPS HD capacitive touchscreen, Android Jelly Bean OS and comes powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon united with 2GB of RAM.

LG officially unveils its most rumoured L-series smartphones that features latest design aesthetics and up-scaled configurations. The company just announced its next generation smartphones - Optimus L3 II, Optimus L5 II and Optimus L7 II, which are expected to launch at the upcoming Mobile Worlds Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Last year, LG unveiled Optimus L3, L5 and L7 at the MWC 2012 and claimed to sold over 10 million L-series devices in the first 10 months. Built on the success grounds of L-series smartphones, this another package of entry-level to mid-ranged handsets are ready to get unleash upon the world.
As the world’s biggest technology event, Mobile World Congress (MWC) is approaching closer, majority of tech players from all over the world are contending hard to gain maximum spot light prior to the episode, which is starting from 25th to 28th February in Barcelona, Spain. LG has put a teaser image ahead of MWC, on its official Facebook page under the honest tag line ‘See what surprise LG has in store for you this time, with an unexpected distinction’. The gift wrapped image is indicating about the company’s plan to announce new smartphone line-up by the current year. However, the series name is not yet confirmed but believing the reports, it might be the F-series, which was previously revealed by the company.

LG already started developing a successor of company’s recently launched LG Optimus G smartphone. The new handset will be named as LG Optimus G2, which is expected to launch in May 2013. LG India has softly launched its latest phone in its Optimus series called LG Optimus Vu, the company has recently listed the product on its official website. The latest release has been priced at INR 34,500 and is reportedly available in the country. The smartphone was earlier announced to be launched in February this year; however, the company released it in South Korea first. Later on, company announced a revamped global version of the smartphone in August, 2012. The Optimus Vu comes equipped with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Android v4.0.4 Jelly Bean OS, 5-inch IPS XGA display (1024 x 768p) with 4:3 aspect ratio, 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera. On the connectivity front, you will get 3G (HSPA+21 Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, DLNA, NFC, and aGPS. It also has 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and 2080mAh battery. Company is bundling a NFC Tag and Rubbebdium Pen along with every Optimus Vu in the country.
In a month loaded with tech launches by the titans from all over the world, LG will be seen making its own contribution pretty soon.
