It seems like smart watches will be soon joining the tech world as major technology players have reportedly working on their own projects involving smart watches and other wearable devices. The smartwatch trend was initially sparked by Sony. As reported earlier, Apple and Samsung have started working on the concept of smartwatch that can be paired with a smartphone and will even show the messages and other notifications received on the phone onto its display.

Microsoft has just updated its Lync app suite for the Android operating system with the release of latest version of Lync instant messaging service.  Back in the month of December, 2011, Microsoft came with the first version of Lync for Android, which has taken real-time collaboration to mobile. But considering the Android OS updates and design guidelines, it seems outdated for the modern mobile handsets. Now Microsoft has finally released Lync 2013 app that allows instant messaging by pulling video and voice calls or contacts from Microsoft Outlook. Also, for enterprise subdivision, the company bring in Lync with integrated voice as well as video calling features.

With the tech biggies like Apple and Samsung setting up an impressive line-up for 2012, how could Microsoft be far behind? Everyone knows that the Bill Gates firm announced the launch date of Windows 8 to be October 26, 2012. And now reliable sources inform that the launch of Windows Phone 8 will soon follow. It will be launched amidst huge fanfare in an event at the West coast on October 29. This event will also witness the unveiling of other handsets powered by the OS, including Samsung Ativ S. Upon its launch, Microsoft's new mobile OS will be supported by several smartphone brands, including Nokia, HTC and Samsung. Nokia, who supported Microsoft through its ups and downs is also expected to launch its new Lumia devices soon after. Microsoft's Build Conference will be held four days later, where developers will be seen discussing the details of Windows 8 and also the Windows Phone 8.

It is likely to release pretty soon. Now the buzz is about that Microsoft is all set and ready to host an event to reveal this very software update for Windows Phone 7.

In November last year, HTC 7 Trophy was announced for free distribution to Microsoft employees, the phone will be in hands of the employees very soon. This dual-band smartphone would be released on 24th March this year. The smartphone might be available for dollar 200 but Microsoft employees will get it for free and the offer is made by Verizon which is promoter of the device. with it, the company is to provide dollar 100 bill credit per line to employees for 2 years.

World's major software manufacturer, Microsoft is going to declare a new low-cost windows phone 7 for developing markets like India by 2011, a new operating system will be equipped for mobile phones by Microsoft. The company's new version mobile scheduled will be introduced by the end of December. Microsoft officials declined to share any details on pricing, but as per some website reports, new Windows Phone 7 is expected to be priced at $500-$600 equivalent to Google's Nexus one (Upcoming mobile of Google). It will be available with new special features like large multi-touch screen, 5MP camera, bluetooth, 128 MB RAM (minimum) and wi-fi. “The low-cost version of the phone will be with altogether different chassis than version 1 that is to be launched by 2010 end,” said Sudeep Bharati, director, developer tools for Microsoft India’s Visual Studio Team at Tech.Ed 2010 being held here.

World's major software manufacturer, Microsoft Pink project in collaboration with Sharp corporation is now ready and unleashed the product as KIN 1 and KIN 2. The software giant tied-up with Verizon Wireless company to roll out this Smart phone into the market. Industry experts believe that, its a precious time to introduce its courier digital journal to give a tough competition pitted against I-pod mobile, which has recently released by Apple. Pink Mobile will be available in United States within the end of this year. The company has not yet decided to roll out its new Pink phone in India too.
