Both the devices are available in both postpaid and prepaid connections. Users can not use SIM of other operators in these MTS mobiles as these devices are locked handsets. MTS offers discount for the post paid users as Livewire is priced at Rs 2,999 and MTS Mtag 3.1 is available at Rs 3,499 only but with a contract of one year.

Both the smartphones feature the Qualcomm’s S1 Snapdragon processors. They run on the Android 2.2 Froyo platform to offer an extensive talk-time, text messages and data subscription. Also, both the handsets support the EVDO and pre-installed MTS’ mobile TV application.

The company has increased this number within the 361 days from 1 million to 5 million subscribers. The company has also rolled out a data services in last year and has already used over 100 thousand subscribers. On the accession, MTS has offered "unlimited MBlazer" for new and current customers of its mobile broadband service.
