Samsung has turn out the game totally by leaving Nokia, Sony and HTC far behind in the race of capturing the smartphones market in India and in the rest of the world too and with lots more Android mobile devices in the pipeline, it is sure that the company will keep on tasting the success till the end of 2012 atleast. According to current reports, Samsung currently has 40% of the Android market share which means that out of every 10 smartphones running on the Android platform, four handsets belong to Samsung only and the company is expecting to increase this ratio with the launch of their highly anticipated smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S III, which will soon hit the Indian shelves with an assumed price of Rs. 38,000.
Samsung once again has disappointed Indian customers on a larger extent than before by announcing that the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone will not be released in the Indian market and that the Indian customers should wait for Samsung Galaxy S III only. While the rest of the world is enjoying both the handsets, India was once again kept on waiting for the release of Samsung Galaxy S III whereas Galaxy Nexus won't be available at all, even after lots of promises and statements by the company.

The electronics manufacturing giant, Samsung, has decided to retain physical Home button in its forthcoming flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S III, though it sounds ironic that this latest smartphone device from Samsung will be running on button free Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. There are some news inputs that reveal that there were many contradicting opinions, regarding the inclusion of physical button in Samsung Galaxy S III, some insisted that this new device should not have any physical button like Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and some wanted the inclusion of the physical Home button, and finally it has been decided that the new device will be based on Ice Cream Sandwich design structure with a physical Home button, and it is believed that Samsung has sent a prototype with the Home button.

Galaxy Tab 680 was priced at Rs. 34,900 when it was first launched in India, now after price cut this tablet is available for Rs. 28,500. At this new price, Galaxy Tab 680 will be easily one of the best 3G high end tablet available at this price. This is the first time that this tab let is facing a price cut in India. One of the leaders in smart phone and tablet devices Samsung has recently announced the launch of its new tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India. The new tablet will be available at a price of Rs.23, 250. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 will be available in India in the first week of April 2012. This was announced at South West Asia Forum in Bangkok. This new tablet was also showcased at Mobile World Congress meet which was held in Barcelona, Spain earlier this year.

Mobile handset manufacturing giant Samsung has announced a new model for Asian markets. According to Samsung press release they would be releasing their first projector phone by name Samsung Galaxy Beam. Galaxy Beam will be released in Asian markets by end of May 2012. The announcement was made on 18 March 2012 from Bangkok, Thailand. Galaxy Beam was on display at World Mobile Congress meet and this phone also grabbed best phone at this event. Galaxy Beam will be accepting pre order bookings on popular online retail stores. Samsung Galaxy Beam is fitted with 15 lumens projector, which provides 50-inch display with crystal clear clarity even in outdoor environment.
The mobile manufacture giant Samsung has released one more mid-segment Android phone Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus into Indian mobile market, probably will be available by 21 March. Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus which was also displayed at Mobile World Congress meeting which was held recently in Barcelona, Spain. Though this phone had attracted many visitors at MWC 2012 with its stylish design, but some experts felt that this phone lacked some good hardware configurations. Though this phone is not top-tier Android smartphone from Samsung, it’s just a mid range segment phone. Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is a successor of popular Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Samsung mobiles have announced the launch of another Android smartphone Samsung Galaxy Pocket in London, United Kingdom. This phone will be made available in London later this year. Unlike Samsung Galaxy Note, which is a high priced phone, the new phone Samsung Galaxy Pocket will be joining Galaxy Y and other basic model Android smartphones in Samsung Galaxy series. Samsung Galaxy Pocket will be available in Italy from March 2012, and gradually will be made available at other parts of Europe, Southeast Asia, CIS, Latin America, Southwest Asia, Middle East, Africa and China.
