Sony is all set to launch its mid-ranger Android smartphone in India, which was announced a month back along with Sony Xperia SP. Dubbed as Xperia L, the handset occupies a eye-catchy 4.3-inch scratch-resistant capacitive touchscreen display that produces a TFT picture resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Sony must be rolling on the grounds of success after gaining a significant appreciation for the recently launched Xperia Z, a water- and dust-resistant premium smartphone. And now, the company is looking forward to continue the same era of success with its consecutive new launches, Sony Xperia L and Xperia SP.
The smartphone market is at its boom period and every now-and-then, tech savvies are witnessing the launch of either flagship, mid-ranged or entry level smartphones from the major players. Sony seems to have taken a serious determination to capture the Indian market with its huge line-up of products, that is why, it has launched another member of the Xperia series, Sony Xperia SP, in India today. In the beginning of the last month, Sony released its flagship droid, Xperia Z, for the Indian market, which was endorsed by the Bollywood diva, Katrina Kaif and now it comes up with another of its Xperia product in the smartphone segment that falls in the mid-range category. This droid will hit the shelves during the mid of April with a price tag of Rs. 27,490 along with a free premium case worth Rs. 1,990. This piece of gadget is full of latest features and applications that balances the amount one will have to pay for this beast.
After launching a series of mid-range smartphones such as Xperia E, Xperia L and Xperia SP, the Japanese vendor, Sony, is reported to be planning another launch of a budget friendly smartphone, which will be an entry-level phone of the company. Well, there is no confirmation right now but according to news from the trusted sources, it is found that Sony has ordered MediaTek quad-core processors which might be used in upcoming entry level models.
The much awaited, entry-level Xperia series smartphones, Sony Xperia E and Xperia E dual are finally up for sale via online retailers in India. Both the smartphones were announced back in December and users have to spend INR 9,990 for Xperia E and INR 10,990 for Xperia E Dual smartphone. Both the handsets pack similar spec-sheet, except the fact that Xperia E Dual has Dual SIM feature that allows user to use two different GSM connections.
After introducing Xperia Z smartphone in India few days back, Sony recently announced the availability of Xperia Tablet Z that would commence from the month of May 2013. The 10.1-inch tablet was first showcased in Japan following the CES tech event and has recently touched ground in the US after being officially announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013. Sony Xperia Z tablet can be recognised as one of the slimmest tablet around, at 6.9mm thickness and 495 grams of weight. Following the design tricks from its smartphone cousin, the device is suppressed in a water-proof, rust-proof and dust-proof casing. Now moving further at a very fast pace, the company is ready to launch yet another set of phones under Xperia series, Xperia ZL and Xperia E. Out of the two, Xperia ZL is to be priced at Rs. 36,990 while the second, Xperia E, will be a low cost smartphone that will be up for Rs. 10,000. Trusted sources are hinting towards the availability of these two smartphones from 12th March 2013. Unlike Xperia Z, this duo is not IP57 certified, which means that these smartphones are not water-proof.

Since then, with minor gaps, this beast touched the grounds of many nations and has been successful there. Though the official Facebook page of the company is silent on the name of the product that is about to launch at the event, the backdrop image of the phone is indicating towards Xperia Z. Not only this, but the product has also been up for pre-order on some online stores for Rs. 40,000, though the price may vary after its official launch.

Sony recently introduced the Xperia Z smartphone as the company's latest flagship device at the technology event, CES. As per the rumoured specifications, the new Sony Xperia Z tablet will feature a 10.1-inch, full HD display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Sony’s flagship smartphone for next year, which is referred as Sony Yuga C660 for past few weeks, but now, the droid is rumoured to be launched as a market-friendly codename of Xperia Z. The official launch of this android handheld is planned to take place in consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2013.
