According to Neilson India Consumer Rankings report, Vodafone emerges out as the best Indian Mobile Operator and most satisfying in terms of the 2G, 3G network, and customer services & offers. Whereas, one of the most popular operator Airtel comes second and Idea is struggling by holding third position in this mobile operators list. Meanwhile, DOCOMO has so far been lagging behind Idea and Airtel in the rank list, which is obvious from their weak network and increased levels of tariffs in all their services.

Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular service providers, in association with Research In Motion, is organizing a service camp at select Vodafone Stores in  Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh  starting January 4th -10th, 2012. As an extension of their ‘Happy to Help’ ideology, Vodafone is inviting all users of BlackBerry, irrespective of their service providers to come and get their BlackBerry smartphones serviced free of cost at these camps. BlackBerry offered loads of Christmas offers recently, also was in news because of price reduction of BlackBerry Playbook.

Vodafone has recently announced two more phones to its catalogue, the Nokia 700 and Blackberry Curve 9360. The phones are offered at a monthly plan of £ 26.24 on Vodafone. The plan offers 300 minutes of talk time, unlimited messaging and 500 MB of data download on the Nokia 700 mobile. A 500 minutes of talk-time with unlimited messaging, 500 MB of data is offered on the BlackBerry Curve 9360.

The leading mobile service providing company Vodafone today launched its first Facebook centric mobile handset Vodafone 555 in Indian mobile market after making its successful debut in the U.K mobile market. The specific feature of new Vodafone 555 is that it is embedded with Facebook dedicated button and it would be appropriate to call it as Vodafone Facebook phone because it is designed specifically for the users who are online on Facebook throughout the day. The mobile users who are crazy for the Facebook application can enjoy the fun of using their desired application instantly on their  fingers and that also at an affordable price of Rs. 4950 only. 

Vodafone is going gaga about its new phone known as Vodafone 555, which is said to be a Facebook friendly phone. Indian major communication provider and entry level mobile manufacture company Vodafone recently launched a Solar power charge mobile named as Vodafone VF247 in Indian market.

India's largest telecoms service provider, Vodafone Essar is all set to launch its new ultra low cost mobile handsets soon in India, the punch line would be 'World's Cheapest mobile phones'. The all new cheapest mobiles will be called as Vodafone 150 and Vodafone 250. The company is also planning to launch it country wise and the First launch will be done in India than it will be introduced in Turkey and after rest of 8 African markets. The ultra cost mobile handsets will be equipped with SMS and voice solution facilities. Besides, customers can easily pay mobile phone bills through cheapest mobile phones.

Vodafone is ready to launch a new ultra low-cost mobile handset soon in India. The new mobile handset will be available at Rs.700. It's happened first time that a telecom service provider has announced to launch a new mobile handset below the Rs. 1,000 mark. On the other hand, many other telecom providers like Micromax, Nokia, Ray and Fly are retailing handsets at attractive price tags. Few month ago, Nokia retailing a phone with a low price tag at Rs. 1300 and Vodafone had also a mobile price at Rs. 1200. The company aims to provide a low cast mobile handset of country's urban agenda. Vodafone's planning to retailed across the country, and not only  just in rural areas but also provide a customers who have not yet purchased a cell phone.

World's largest mobile telecommunication network operator, Vodafone Essar has been joined by 36 lakh new subscriber in the last month. The company's  total subscriber base become 1.39 crore, according to the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). The all India GSM cellular users base stood at 42.18 crore, an increase of 3.42 percent as against to the last financial year data. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel is the largest cellular service provider in India, has also added 30 lakh new users in March but left behind by Vodafone Essar. Bharti Airtel's total subscriber base is at 12.7 crore, which accounts for a market share of 30.25 percent. Bharti Airtel comes followed by Vodafone Essar, which has a total users base of 10 crore and a market stake of 23.91 percent. State-run BSNL has been joined by a 24.82 lakh more new users last month, which has taken its market share to 15.05 per cent. Its total mobile user base is  6.34 crore.
