During recent years Acer Mobiles has emerged as one of the promising mobile manufacturing company in the Indian mobile market for manufacturing the mobiles that meet the requirements of the customers at an affordable prices. After making successful debut in the domestic mobile market Acer Mobiles made its debut in the tablet market and announced the production of tablets operating on both Android and Window based operating system. Now there are rumours that Acer mobiles is soon going to rejuvenate its Android based tablet devices and is speculating to launch its new tablet in Indian market as Acer Iconia A501, which is also considered as an upgraded and modified version of its first tablet Acer Iconia Tab A500.
The specific feature of Acer Iconia A501 is that it supports connectivity with 3G and mobile which did not existed in the erstwhile Acer Iconia Tab A500. Acer Iconia A501 is designed by 10.1 inches screen with screen resolution of 800 x 1280 pixel similar to its predecessor Acer Iconia Tab A500. There are speculations that Acer Iconia A501 will be equipped with pre-installed Android Honeycomb 3.2 or may be available with option of upgrading it with Honeycomb 3.2 according to requirement of the user.
Besides this there is wide array of various technical features integrated in new Acer Iconia A501 which were not integrated in Acer Iconia Tab A500. The major changes introduced in Acer Iconia A501 includes 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor followed by RAM of 1GB DDR2. Apart from this Acer Iconia A501 comes with two memory options of 16GB and 32GB. The other cosmetics embedded in Acer Iconia A501 is camera of rear camera of 5 mega pixel which can be used for video recording and photo capturing supported by front camera of 2 mega pixel for video chatting. There are rumours that new tablet Acer Iconia A501 will be priced ranging between Rs. 27,000/- to Rs.30,000/- depending upon the memory option opted by the user.
