Acer has launched its new smartphone Iconia Smart in India at a price of Rs 28,990. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread based Iconia Smart offered from its Android portfolio had been first spotted in the month of February at the Mobile World Congress. S.Rajendran, the Chief Marketing Officer of Acer India had commented that Acer Iconia Smart is basically targeted for those who depend mostly on their smartphones to carry their business activities, which is at the same time endowed with a stylish design for those who look for a fashion appeal. The phone adorns a black casing with a matte finish sporting a wavy design in the rear.

The Iconia Smart features a large display screen among the smartphones of 4.8” HXGA display screen of 1024x480p resolution. The large display screen enthrals the user while watching movies.
