According to iSuppli, Cupertino-based firm makes more than 50% on the manufacturing cost for each unit. Apple 64 GB LTE variant of new iPad from Apple costs around Rs. 20,773 and it is retailed at a Rs. 41,663 according to iSuppli news inputs, which means that Apple profit levels are much higher, on every model it produces. Apple incurs higher cost of production on their new iPad variant than Apple iPad 2, but even then the Apple kept its new iPad device similar with Apple iPad 2 devices. Apple is making higher profits with their tablets by including additional NAND memory. There is only marginal difference between Apple iPad 16 GB flash memory variant and iPad 32 GB variant, the price difference between these two variants is only Rs. 842.
