Mobile News India - Apple to plans new with Apple Premium Reseller program in subcontinent

Apple Premium Reseller program was designed by Apple to improve customer service and also expand their market coverage. Apple Premium Reseller will be offering complimentary software’s Mac’s, Apple iPhones, Apple iPods and accessories. At present there are about 49 APRs who are currently working in India, which have planned a systematic growth plan. The position for National Manager is based in Bangalore, which is located in the southern region of the subcontinent. The National Manager will be in charge of the APR program and will lead the APR coverage as per the guidelines and route map set by the smartphone manufacturing giant.

It looks like though Apple is not keen to set up an Apple Stores in India, in very near future but, certainly making its moves to make its presence felt in other ways. A new job listing was found in Apple site points that Apple is making a significant growth plan for its network for Apple Premium Reseller (APR) in India. The listing show that Apple is looking for National Manger in India, this manager will be responsible to take care of all the Apple Premium Reseller operations in India.

Earlier there was a buzz that Apple is planning to open Apple Stores in India, after the Indian government has eased some laws regarding opening a store in India. According to the new law any foreign company can open their store under domestic ownership of single brand store. But looking at the moves of Apple, it is very much clear that this smartphone giant has no plans to open their stores in India, at least for some period of time. Apple wants to take concrete steps and make and expand their presence through their Apple Premium Reseller program. But Apple must have some future plans for India, as Indian mobile market is reckoned as one of the biggest and important mobile markets in the world.
