Research in Motion (RIM) is day-by-day innovating new products in order to capture the current third generation smartphones market. Another revelation by RIM is BlackBerry Curve 9320 which claims to be the 3G variant of BlackBerry Curve 9220. It is marketed as a low cost smartphone by RIM but the price of BlackBerry Curve 9320 has not been declared by the company officially but it is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 12,000. The company is mum on the availability of BlackBerry Curve 9320 in the Indian market which is assumed to be announced at the time of its release.
The phone shares similar specifications with BlackBerry Curve 9220 but with 3G technology. RIM has, at last, put an end to all the rumors that were in the air regarding this low-end smartphone which is specially designed for the customers who always want to be socially connected. BlackBerry Curve 9320 will have 3G connectivity along with Wi-Fi at HSPA+ speed, GPS and Bluetooth. Like the 9220 series, this smartphone also has a special button BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) along with a built in FM radio. The screen has QVGA display with 2.4 inch wide screen and a 3.2 MP camera with LED flash facility. It carries a 512 MB of RAM and ROM and has hot swappable microSD card slot to expand the external memory up to 32 GB.
BlackBerry Curve 9320 is running on BlackBerry OS 7.1 and the availability of dedicated BBM key allows quick access to messages, thus helping you to stay connected with your social group all the time. This smartphone s filled by social networking applications such as Facebook and Twitter and is glorified with QWERTY keypad mobile but the screen is non-touch type. This smartphone will have super strong 1,450 mAh battery that will provide a standby time up to 18 days. BlackBerry Curve 9320 will hit the market in various diversified colors to attract the customers and the price will also play a crucial role in increasing its sale. Till then, we can only wait for the release of this low cost handset by RIM.
