In the era of rapid technological advancements and high competition, the ambitious Chinese manufacturer- G Five- is yet again ready to give tough competition to Spice Mi 720, Reliance Mobile 3G Tab, Beetel Magiq, HCL Me, Viewsonic Windpad 7 and others with its truly economical upcoming PC G Five Tablet. The firm claims to make people scratch their heads once again with the advent of Android G Five Tablet this month featuring 7 inch touch screen at a price below Rs 10,000 in India. It is the same G Five company that was ranked second to Nokia by replacing Samsung in the recent International Data Corporation (IDC) report.
Such news about the launch of Android Tablet was rumored back in June 2011, had it happened then, G Five would have been like a dream come true in markets with negligible competition not even in the higher price range. Today every fortnight, there is a news of new Android Tablet launch.
The G Five Tablet is expected to be released with two models, one based on Google Android and other on Microsoft Windows. The models will be available in two distinct sizes 7 inches and 10 inches. Arshit Pathak, managing director of Kingtech Electronics India Private Ltd, a group company of G Five International mentioned that these 3G powered Android tablets will have WiFi enabled features and at a price below Rs.10,000. G Five Tablet is expected to shatter the competitors. While declaring its business plan for India, the company said that it will extend the warranty of its mobile phones to 500 days as compared to the industry average of 365 days.
Along with Spice Mi 720 and Reliance Mobile 3G Tab, the most close competitor is expected to be Beetel Magiq having the specifications like 1 GHz Qualcomm processor, 3G, Android 2.2, SIM slot, WiFi and 16 GB expandable memory. The detailed specifications of G Five Tablet are not yet out but it will definitely make people think twice before buying any Android Tablet.
