Description:

Google Nexus 7 tablet, highly awaited, was recently announced. Google plans to make it available for US, UK, Canadian, and Australian markets pretty soon via Google Play. The tablet has been comfortably priced at Rs. 11,000. However, those in India who were waiting to start showing off this phone, will not get a chance to before September, or the launch could go as far as Diwali, too. Long wait, hopefully, it would be worth it. Google Nexus 7, a tablet, will be manufactured by Asus. This will the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean gadget. Information comes from Asus that as of now neither Google nor Asus has any qualms of not unveiling it for India too, however, they do inform that the announcement might come in September, that is, the quarter 3. And then, if they announce it in September, the tablet would reach us in due time to start the festive time.

As per the speculations, Google would rather like to bring in the device pretty soon, because of the low price that it has been tagged at. And would certainly like to cash-in on the festive time, thus making it a Diwali launch. However, the launch strategy will also have to be checked for India launch. They would have to decide whether to give it online or offline, or throw some offers for it as would be the requirement of festive mood. The one point that trouble them is that India has a low online retail market.

The total online market in India is not more than Rs. 45,000 crores, which as per the world-wide status, is not much, instead is just a small part of it. Fish in the ocean. In this small chunk, 90 percent consumers access online services for activities relating to travel and finance, the market for online electronics market remains really small. As per the status, it simply measures to a tenth of the whole market.

What gives Google and Asus some hopes is the bulk pre-ordering of Aakash tablet and also Pantel tablets by BSNL. Quite much was noticed happening for Samsung Galalxy S3 too. Proving that Indian consumers are now looking forward for online shopping for electronics also, if they get an honest deal. Not just this, with the low price of Google Nexus 7, approximately Rs. 11,000, with the kind of features Google is offering, the company does not bother for the sales, since they are pretty sure it would be a sure shot rage. The tablet has been gifted with a 1.3 quad core Tegra 3 processor, RAM of 1 GB, Near Field Communication (NFC) chip, a GeForce 12 core graphics processor, 1280 X 800 pixel display, and a continuous 9 hours of video playback.

What could be asked for more than getting Google Chrome browser at default option. If this what the fact is, and can be well believed, Google Nexus 7 will be the first Android with this option, rather feature. This Android 4.1, Jelly Bean operating system based tablet will come with an intelligent keyboard, which will have the capability to predict words while being typed in. What more, it would even support offline voice typing too, in a total of a whooping 18 new input languages.
