Renowned mobile manufacturing company HTC Mobiles is going to upgrade its HTC Sensation series of mobile phones with HTC Sense 3.6 followed by Ice-Cream Sandwich RUU operating system. According to rumors, the existing users of HTC Sensation XE can get their handset updated with HTC Sense and Ice-Cream Sandwich as HTC has released two ROMs on XDA. It is reported that both these ROMs are constant and energized with ICS. Reports also reveal that first Ice-Cream Sandwich RUU will be enriched with HTC Sense 3.6 as its erstwhile variants supported Sense 3.5.
The existing variant of HTC Sensation XE is designed with 4.3 inches S-LCD capacitive touchscreen followed by HTC Sense user interface application. It is energized with Android v2.3.4 operating system with Dual Core 1.5 GHz scorpion central processing unit. It is enriched with internal memory space of 4GB with 768MB RAM and external memory card slot that can store microSD flash card up to 32GB storage capacity. It adorns dual camera of 8MP for photography and video recording followed by VGA camera to ensure live video chat with other users. The inbuilt WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML, Adobe Flash web browser lavishes the users to get connected with Internet access for checking their mails and getting connected with various social networking websites to stay connected with their friends and relatives.
The existing version of HTC Sensation supports connectivity with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB v2.0. The powerful li-ion battery of 1730mAh churns the talk time of 9 hours and 16 minutes for 2G network and 7 hours and 20 minutes for 3G network followed by stand by time of 310 hours and 540 hours for 2G and 3G networks. Besides all these remarkable features other sundry features that enhance the functionality of HTC Sensation XE include YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa integration, MP3/AAC /WAV/WMA player, XviD/MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player, Organizer, Document viewer/editor, Voice memo/dial/commands, and Predictive text input.
