Intex technologies, a technology component manufacturer on global stag, has launched a new and innovative mobile phone Intex Vision IN 2020 for visually impaired. This specially designed mobile phone for visually impaired has recently been launched in association of India's largest non-government voluntary organisation NAB. The organisation will provide this handset to its students and faculties. Intex Vision IN 2020 price in India is Rs. 2600.

Intex Vision IN 2020 carries some different types of features which are easy to operate by visually impaired. The mobile phone is equipped with a large Braile Keypad and emboss digits along with some special signs. One can also use its talking keypad for dialing numbers and entering words for an SMS.

There is a unique SOS feature that has been installed in the mobile phone which allows to save four emergency numbers by pressing the SOS button, the call gets automatically directed to the first emergency number. The very simple user interface of the mobile phone has simple appearance. It is not special mobile phone but has lots of entertainment features like wireless FM radio, audio player, torch light, auto call record, mobile tracker and one-touch key for locking the keypad.

Internal memory of the Intex Vision In 2020 is good and 250 SMS and 1000 contacts can be stored in it while it supports up to 2 GB memory card for expandable memory. It is simple but innovative technology loaded device which helps visually impaired.
