Increasing number of mobile phone makers in India is resulting in customer benefits; to be in competition, the mobile makers in India are launching feature rich mobiles at affordable prices coupled with new-generation technologies. The latest in the news is Maxx that is to bring an affordable Android mobile in India that is speculated to be tagged at somewhere around Rs 7000. It might be christened Maxx MR440.
The new Android mobile of Maxx would carry a 3.2 megapixel camera, mini USB port, 3.1 inch capacitive display screen, etc. This is not only the only smartphone that is to be priced competitively but Micromax had already added low-range Android phone- Micromax Andro 60. It is available at Rs 6,699 in India; the phone has 3 mega pixel camera, Android 2.1 OS, 150 MB internal memory plus offers 32 GB of expandable memory, etc.
Another Android family member low-priced smatrphone is from Huawei; it has recently launched Huawei Ideos at just Rs. 8,499. The mobile comes with Android 2.2 OS, 200MB of internal and supported 32GB external memory, 528MHz processor, 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display, etc.
