Motorola India, a leading mobile maker in the Indian market, is all set to roll out a next generation version of its popular Motorola Droid in the country in the second week of August 2010. The Motorola Droid 2 will be carrying a basket full of new generation features including a a 750 MHz processor, 5 MP camera and a 3.7 inch touch screen. According to industry reports the model is expected to be launched in India on upcoming 12th of August. The company claims that the new Motorola Droid2 will be having an upper hand over likes of Apple iPhone 3GS in the Indian market, thanks to its much more sophisticated technology and revolutionary multimedia features.
Meanwhile, the company is also in the process of developing a tablet PC which will be locking horns with the likes of iPad in the country. It is expected that the device will be launched in the Indian market near Diwali season, so that it can make the most of the high demand of the festival season. Moreover. the company is set to launch most awaited Motorola Droid X in the Indian market by August 12th. The Droid X is receiving an overwhelming response in the US market along with providing a tough competition to other mobiles of this price segment. The Motorola Milestone XT720, which was initially rolled-out with a price tag of Rs. 34,990, is now available at Rs. 27,490, as the company had decided to cut down its price after witnessing a moderate response initially. The Motorola Milestone XT720 carries a massive storage capacity of 8 GB along with a HDMI cable.
