Nokia India decreased prices of Mobile Phones

Nokia India has decreased prices by 8.5 percent of
mobile phone for Maharashtra (Mumbai). State Government of Maharashtra has raised the Value Added Tax (VAT) on
mobile phones prices from 4 to 12.5 percent in last year. But now the
mobile prices are being cut down by the company, it has happened by the effect of VAT less than 4 percent in Mumbai. As per the company's press release,they want to provide same price for all over India to reduce confusion between Buyers and
Dealers. After decreasing the prices, Now company products price such as
Nokia E72 will be available at RS. 18440 in Mumbai same as in other state, earlier it was coming at Rs.20,150/-. One of the other model of E series,
Nokia E63 will also be available at Rs. 8900. Apart from it, low base handset like
Nokia-1209 will be priced Rs.
1209,
Nokia 1661 will also cost Rs, 1449,
Nokia 2700 Rs,3790,
Nokia 5030- Rs. 1690, Nokia 2730c 3G Mobile phone will also be available Rs. 4410 and Nokia 5130 in Rs. 4990. As per last year result Mobile Phone users in Maharashtra were paying more than the buyers of other states in India. On the other hand,
Samsung has recently launched its new Saumsung Monte S5620, while
HTC has also rolled out
HTC Smart mobile phone in the Indian auto market.
