Nokia has announced that it will be rolling out Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 [FP 1] for Nokia 701, Nokia 700, and Nokia 603 devices. In February this year, there were some rumors that reveal that Nokia will be updating some of its mobile devices with Nokia Belle FP 1, and after a month and a half or so, the update has started rolling out for their devices and the version number 112.010.1404. The update will be rolled out through Over The Air [OTA], which include home screen widgets, so improvisations to the notification bar, a new updated version of the browser [8.2], and better and improved multi-tasking interface.
The rollout version also includes Dolby Digital Plus functionality and also increases the speed of the processor from 1.0 to 1.3 GHz. Apart from these updates, Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 will also include updates for other applications like Microsoft Apps [First Phase], and also Nokia Maps Suite 2.0. Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 would give a new face lift to the mobile device by improving the functionality of the phone and performance as well. The software update will enhance the performance of Nokia 701, Nokia 700, and Nokia 603 devices by 30% by boosting the processor speed from 1.0 to 1.3 GHz.
Though improved processor speed will result in additional consumption of battery life, but it’s not necessary that all applications need additional processing speed, but even if it does then it’s good because it would take small processing time and hence the tasks will complete fast and the processor can power down into a low energy idle state. Nokia Belle FP 1 includes new widgets like clock mechanical, Images, mobile data tracker, mini music player, and offline on/off. Apart from these, additional widgets can also be added to the phone depending upon the user.
