Description:
Panasonic, the Japanese multinational electronics group, today unleashed the features and specific details of its Android smartphone which has been named as the Panasonic Eluga. The Eluga will probably be launched in the phone market of Europe somwhere around in the month of March. Although the phone does not have a very catchy and attractive name it still has some very noticable features like a 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor, a RAM capacity of 1GB and an internal memory of 8GB. The phone also has an attractive 4.3 inches of OLED display and an impressive qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.
The phone being water and dust proof has reasonably efficient safety features with NFC covering. To add to the good qualities, the phone is just 7.8 mm thick and also it is not very heavy, weighing merely 103 grams. This gives the phone a clear edge over its competitor, the
Samsung Galaxy S II. Further, the phone has an impressive 8-megapixel camera on the backside in the form of a bump and it has features like automatic focussing and providing stability to clicked images. The quality of the images is something which is very impressive as well. Below the rear cover of the phone lies the phone's 1150 mAH battery which lasts for about 300 hours in standby mode and around 4 hours of talk time. Panasonic Eluga will come with Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 operating system in the beginning. However , as the company affirms, later it will come with Ice cream Sandwich operating system.
All in all, the phone has very stylish and dynamic looks and is also very robust and reliable being water and dust proof. It now needs to be seen what kind of response it receives from the buyers when it is finally launched. Panasonic models doing well in India are
Panasonic Panasonic A210, Panasonic MX6, Panasonic SA6, Panasonic SC3, Panasonic VS2.
