Panasonic, the Japan based mobile manufacturer is planning to make a come back in mobile world. But the entry is not with a small scale move but with a full fledged Android driven smartphone. The company has been working on its smartphones since long and according to sources, the Panasonic will launch its smartphone in 2011 for Jananese markets and from 2012, the availability will be spread overseas.
The company was an International mobile maker and left its operations in the year 2006. since then we have not seen any launches from Panasonic but with a bold move Panasonic is again coming up with mobile phones. Panasonic mobile phones made good progress in market and again the company is ready to spread its production worldwide.
The company has yet planned its hand sets for Japan markets and by 2012 the company has all intentions to spread the process worldwide. So you can see Panasonic mobile phones in Japan by next few months, 2011 probably and then it will be available internationally. The Panasonic mobile phones will be powered by Android operating system.
Panasonic has certainly planned a big move this time as it is not talking about entry level mobile phones but hard core smartphones working on the latest OS from Google Android. The company is expected to increase its sales tremendously with Panasonic mobiles segment. In Japan, the company is expected to reach 5.4-5.5 million units target with its Android driven smartphones.
If we talk about the past performance of Panasonic mobile phones, the company was more into the entry level mobile phones and no commendable success is being recorded by it, but now we see that the company is stepping in the smartphone market and is certainly in a mood to bash the market with Android storm.
