Pine mobiles is going to launch a new mobile handset in India by the end of this month. The company will start primarily production of entry-level mobile handsets in India. Rohit Aggarwal, CEO,
Pine Mobiles said," In the first turn of the launch, Pine will follow mass oriented, rural centric and cover the northern and northeastern parts of India, such as Punjab, Assam and Lucknow. Besides, the company intends to begin distribution in neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. The
Pine phones will feature QWERTY keyboard, 3 SIM card slots and email functions. Pine Mobiles will introduce A1,
KING,
EXECUTIVE,
BEE and TRIO in the Indian mobile market. All the mobile handsets will be available between price range of Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 4,000. The company targets to sell over half a million handset within the first year of its launch. On the other hand, Pine mobiles is also planning to establish a manufacturing plant in the country.
