Mobile News India - Reliance brings Coolpad D530 in India

The premier mobile service providing company Reliance Communications in joint venture with Hong-Kong based China Wireless Technologies has launched 3.5 inches CDMA smartphone Coolpad D530 powered by Android Eclair (2.1) operating system in Kolkata today. The phone hits the shelves of Chennai mobile market and is soon reach throughout the other dealers of country. The phones manufactured in joint venture between these companies will be known as Coolpad Mobiles.

Coolpad D530 is the first CMDA phone in the country which is powered by Android Eclair operating system. The other cosmetics integrated in Coolpad D530 include 2 mega pixel camera and features like WiFi hotspot, Google maps and GPS support. It is expected that it will provide speed of 3.1 Mbps to net users. Coolpad D530 is available with price tag of Rs 7999 only with assurance from Reliance communications offering 100 per money back with discount during the period of next two years. Prior to Coolpad D530 Reliance communications has also launched Reliance Mobile 3G Tab in Indian mobile market.

According to reports revealed by authentic  sources of joint venture, Coolpad is speculating to launch 8 to 9 more Coolpad Mobiles in India by the end of this year including GSM phones based on Android operating system. Besides this company is also planning to establish it Research and Design centre in India. The same kind of reports were also confirmed by an authentic source from Reliance Communications revealing that company will soon make Coolpad D530 available across the country. The source further added after this company is speculating to launch wide range of Coolpad Mobiles in country including tablets.

In the words of Mr. Mitash Chatterjee, Circle Head, Reliance Communications, Kolkata, company has large segment of ARPU CDMA customers. Therefore to meet the demands of these customers Reliance has entered in an alliance with Coolpad. Mr. Chatterjee also added that with Reliance providing 3G services in more 1000 cities across the country including  the metro cities at the speed of 3.1 Mbps, the phones like Coolpad D530 can play major role in meeting demands of the customers.
