The latest version of Samsung Galaxy S4 is in rumors. To be called Galaxy S4 Zoom, the buzz is that it would feature a 16MP camera. Now with this, Samsung proves that it perfectly knows how to maintain a balance between the entry-level handsets and high-end smartphones. After acquiring a huge round of applause from both, the audience and critics for flagship Samsung Galaxy S4, this was the perfect time to release another phone or another version of the same phone. Thus comes in news Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. With most of the features being the same as its earlier version, this rumored phone will supposedly be more of a camera phone.
According to the reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will sport a 16MP colossal shooter similar to Galaxy Camera, one of the revolutionary cameras based on Android (Jelly Bean). Other noticeable configurations of S4 Zoom include a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8GB of internal memory while the external memory can be expanded up to 64GB and Android Jelly Bean operating system on-board. Connectivity front is well-settled with options like microSDXC support, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy), Wi-Fi, and A-GPS.
Nothing is confirmed about the processor and RAM as of now but on the software front, other than Jelly Bean, Samsung is integrating the TouchWiz Nature UX user interface with its newest creation. With the massive 16MP snapper, it aims to compete with Nokia Lumia 928 that is likely to resonate with Nokia’s PureView technology and a Carl Zeiss lens.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom would be available in two colors, black and white. The company is planning to launch this photography beast close to June/July this year. Furthermore, apart from this camera-focused variant of Galaxy S4, Samsung has re-scheduled the launch of rugged version of Galaxy S4 or Galaxy S4 Active to June 2013 while the mini version or Galaxy S4 Mini is most likely to appear in July.
