Samsung has left behind most of its competitors far behind and has quoted the highest ever sales in the previous quarter. This Samsung tablet has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 23,250 and is the first tablet by Samsung which runs on Android v.4.0 Operating System. The company has also partnered with Tata Docomo to provide free 3G download plan for 3 months to the users of this tablet.
Having the latest Android ICS platform, Galaxy Tab 2 will allow access to more than 2,00,000 applications including various Samsung Hubs such as My Movies Hub, Readers Hub, Music Hub, etc. and will also run Google Play Store which allows one to enjoy more than 4,50,000 applications and games. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 comes with a 7 inches wide PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen with TouchWiz UX UI on top of the Android OS and has an internal storage capacity of 8/16/32 GB and the external memory can hold up to 64 GB of data via microSD card slot. The wide screen provides a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels with 16M color schemes.
Connectivity options such as 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB port are supportable on this tablet along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and in-built loudspeakers. Galaxy Tab 2 is powered by a dual core 1 GHz processor which makes the device runs smoothly and fast. The 3.2 MP camera comes with features such as Geo-tagging and smile detection and provides images in resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and can capture 1080p videos. The standard Li-Ion 4,000 mAh battery can keep the device working for much longer duration. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 is expected to give a tough competition to Apple iPads, which are till now ruling the tablets market in India.
