After the successful buyout of Ericsson, Sony (Japan-based consumer electronics giant) is grabbing the opportunity to redefine its reputation by launching the Sony Xperia S Android smartphone after shipping it worldwide. The Xperia S is Sony's flagship device in its all-new Ericsson-less Xperia range. The exact release date of Sony Xperia S in India is still unknown but it is expected to be released somewhere around April 2012. The price for the Indian market is unlocked and is tagged around Rs. 31,000/-.
Sony Xperia S is Sony's first Android smartphone which is already available in some markets of the world since a couple of week. Sony Xperia S features a 4.3" capacitive touchscreen with LED-Backlit LCD giving resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with an internal memory of 32GB and 1GB RAM with no card slot.
