Description:

T Mobile USA- the fourth largest wireless carrier in the US - has been sold out to AT&T for 39 billion dollars. Both the world majors use different 3G frequencies and works at same GSM networks. Out of 39 billion dollar, 25 billion dollars will be paid in cash and rest 14 billion dollar will be acquired in AT&T stocks. However, the deal will be ended within 12 months time period.

T Mobile USA and AT&T are the most popular and big network providers in the USA that have a large group of customers. After this deal a big profit would be there for the new owner that includes 46.5 million customers almost 130 million customers would be included in the venture as against LTE coverage of 294 million customers. It will also decrease the competition in the market and AT&T will be the clear winner.

The direct contender remains in the market is Verizon that, now, has to think over its expansion plans. The time will tell that what next step it takes whether it over take Sprint or rely on its fast growing LTE network.

There will no direct effect on the customers until the merger fully completed; however, T Mobile will not offer iPhone during that period. T Mobile offers HD 2 that is from HTC HD2, Comet, G2, G1, Mytouch, etc. whereas AT&T offers MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G, HTC Freestyle, HTC Inspire 4G, Samsung Evergreen, LG GU295, HTC Aria, LG Neon II, HTC Inspire 4G, Pantech Impact, HTC Surround, etc.
