Mobile News India - ViewSonic brings ViewPad 7E in India for Rs. 13K

ViewSonic is soon going to launch ViewPad tablet in Indian mobile market. Codenamed as ViewPad 7E this device is designed with 7 inches screen with aspect ratio of 4:3, energized with Android 2.3 operating system, 1 GHz Central Processing Unit, inbuilt memory of 4GB followed by RAM of 512 MB. It also adorns external memory card slot that is capable of storing micro SD flash card up to 32GB, thus ensuring the users to store huge amount of data in their tablet. It supports connectivity with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and integrates dual camera at front and rear side. The rear side adorns camera of 3 megapixels for photography and video recording, whereas the front side has camera of 0.3 megapixel for video calling. It also supports connectivity with high-defined multimedia interfaces (HMDI). It is anticipated that it will be available with price tag of Rs. 13,000 in Indian mobile market.

 

Commenting on launch of ViewPad 7E, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Country Manager, ViewSonic Technologies India, said that at an affordable price ViewPad 7E will deliver superior quality of entertainment. According to Mr. Sharma, the variant in ViewPad tablet series is integrated with high-defined technical features.

Additional features integrated in ViewSonic ViewPad 7E include Integrated Amazon services which include the Amazon Appstore for Android, Kindle for Android and more.

High-resolution 800x600 screen with RiteTouch technology for stylus input and multi-touch capability. Inbuilt accelerometer is supportive for automatic screen rotation. The Swype keyboard makes typing functions more comfort and easier on tablet.

 

It also supports high-speed connectivity with inbuilt social networking websites and also enables the user to surf Internet, access their mails, download new applications wherever they go. ViewPad tablet act as portable entertainment device that supports music and audio books, viewing photos in slide show, recording live audio and music.ViewSonic is an America-based visual display manufacturer. ViewSonic is headquartered in California. ViewSonic is pioneers in visual displays like LCD monitors, digital sign-age, LCD televisions, projectors and many other visual display products. ViewSonic has launched this model in india recently, with a very attractive price of Rs. 13000 only. ViewPad 7e is available in pearl white color. According company officials this tablet is shatter proof. ViewPad 7e comes with rubber grip for holding tablet comfortably. The tablet is designed on 4:3 ratio which allows user to view applications better and also is best suited for reading E-books.

 

ViewSonic India extended its expertise into tablet phone segment. Recently they have released new tablet ViewPad 7e. ViewPad 7e has a display area of 7 inch with capcitative multi touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480. ViewPad 7e has a contrast ratio of 500:1, and brightness of 350 cd/m2. ViewPad 7e runs on Android 2.3 operating system. ViewPad 7e is loaded with 1 Ghz processor which allows true to life picture resolution and also completely supports HD 1080 pixel videos. ViewPad 7e is fitted with QualcommMSM7227 chip set. ViewPad 7e has 4GB internal memory storage. The memory of ViewPad 7e is scalable and can be expandable upto 32 GB through microSD card. ViewPad 7e has Li-polymer 3240 mAH battery, with stand by time of 60 hours and 4 to 6 hours of usage hours.

 

The tablet has two cameras fitted to it. The camera fitted in front is a VGA camera, and 3.0 megapixel camera is fitted on the rear panel of  the tablet. Speakers and microphone are integrated with the tablet. Viewpad 7e is fitted with 3.5 mm jack, and also mini USB connector. This tablet provides with best Internet connectivity as it supports most of the GSM frequencies. This tablet supports 3G and also GPS service. Viewpad 7e supports Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth technology. This tablet has additional features like E-Compass sensor , G-Sensor, and ambient light sensor.
