Vodafone is a well-known name in global mobile market. It is one of the most prominent mobile carriers of the world. Now Vodafone has recently launched a Facebook Phone in United Kingdom and is planning to launch this phone in India too. This new Facebook phone by Vodafone will be known as “Vodafone 555 Blue”, which comes with a price tag of $100 US dollars (Rs. 4,500).

The main aim of Vodafone 555 blue is to lure consumers who love to be on social networks and texting friends. Facebook is for sure an integrals part of Vodafone 555 blue. It will automatically synchronize with your friends’ Facebook profile. The mobile will have a 2.4 inch of screen along with QWERTY keypad, which will make it easier for the user to do texting, chat and updating your status on Facebook.

Vodafone 555 Blue is basically a creation for the developing mobile markets of the world. Vodafone is putting in a serious thought of launching this Facebook phone into the Indian mobile market. However, there hasn’t been any finalized date as to when this handset will be released in India. Even the Vodafone 555 Blue Price in India has not been revealed yet, but it will be around Rs. 4,500.

Just like United Kingdom consumers, Indian customers are also expected to be proffered with some privileged data packs with Vodafone 555 Blue. Apart from 2.4 inch display, this mobile will come with Facebook dedicated button just like HTC ChaCha does. Vodafone 555 blue will allow the user to receive Facebook updates automatically in every 20 minutes, one can also customize this time duration. 

Apart from Facebook dedication of this mobile phone, the texting, MMS and emailing is also very easy in this handset. The Vodafone 555 blue will come with Opera Mini 5 browser and Bluetooth and EDGE for WLAN. It might give a tough competition to HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa.
