ZTE, the Chinese electronic giant, has announced to launch an Android based smartphone and a 10 inches tablet for US market. The company is believed to launch these gadgets before end of the year.
The new Android Gingerbread 2.3 operated smartphone will be much advanced than ZTE Stake smartphone that also runs on Android OS, the latter was launched at Mobile World Congress along with another sibling ZTE Amigo. This ZTE Style S smartphone will be major competitor of Samsung Galaxy S, Motorola Atrix and LG Optimus. Meanwhile ZTE's upcoming Android Honeycomb 3.0 tablet will be an answer to Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, LG G Slate and Apple iPad 2 which are most popular tablets in the market, at present.
Prior to this, ZTE has launched two tablets like ZTE V9 and the ZTE V9 Plus that also use Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 operating system, respectively. Both the tablets are powered by a 1GHz processor and will be available in the first half of this year. But the new 10 inches ZTE tablet will be more powerful than its former siblings.
The company informed that its upcoming high-end smartphone- ZTE Style S- will be packed with a 4.3-inch screen and operated by Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Meanwhile its upcoming 10 inches LTE tablet will have a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 0.3 megapixel front camera and a 1.2GHz processor which are just similar to recently launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. The device will be powered by a 1350 mAh battery that make it capable of providing long back-up as other branded tablets.
ZTE has good share in the smartphone and tablet market with its value for money and reliable gadgets. It has showcased a few smartphones at Mobile World Congress like ZTE Libra, ZTE Netphone 501 and Netphone 701 which are engaged with highly sophisticated features along with Android flavor.
