The new Samsung Nexus Prime smartphone was expected to launch on October 11, 2011 and it did not. The wait has become longer because the launch has been delayed by the company. The scheduled launch has been postponed to show honor for late Mr. Steve Jobs, who demised a few days ago. Despite of that, many a tech specs of this super cool smartphone, an ace rival of Apple iPhone 4S, have come out. Samsung Nexus Prime is projected as a very stylish and cool smartphone which will boast a diagonal 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD Plus touch-screen and that too with 1280x720-pixel resolution. Some leaked pictures show that because its screen pixel density is over 320 ppi, it is very clear and bright so much so it resembles a printed page. Those pictures also reveal that it has curvy sides but very sleek and smart looks. The material of the phone is of premium quality and that is evident from the kind of finish it has been given. It packs Google's future Android software – numbered 4.0, and dubbed "Ice Cream Sandwich" and a 1.2 GHz Exynos dual-core processor.
