Samsung Wave comes with the dimensions 118 mm x 56 mm x 10.9 mm and weighs 118 grams. The device has a 3.3 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that works at a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels along 16 million colours. There is a 5 megapixel camera at the backside of the device along with a secondary camera on the front.

Samsung Wave comes with a music player that makes sure that the user gets to listen to the popular musical tracks that can be heard through the earphones that can be attached to the device with the help of a 3.5 mm jack or through the loudspeakers. The music player is compatible with the formats  MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+.
