  • Jio will offer two plans from tomorrow
  • Rs. 449 plan will have a validity of 91 days
  • Rs. 448 pack will be valid for 84 days

In order to strike back at Airtel, Reliance Jio has come up with the idea of reducing the rates of its prepaid plans. The company will be offering the users two prepaid recharge plans from tomorrow onwards. The first one is the Rs. 449 recharge pack, which comes with 1GB data per day for 91 days and the second one is the Rs. 448 plan with 1.5GB data per day for 84 days.

This means that in total both the plans will be providing the users 91GB and 126GB of total 4G data, respectively. Alongside these free data, there are also free calls, free roaming calls, subscription to Jio apps and 100 free SMSes per day. Already, Airtel has revised its prepaid plans of Rs. 448 and Rs. 509 to offer more validity and data to all the users without increasing the prices. This step was taken by the Telecom giant to ensure that users do not switch to Reliance Jio.

Airtel

In contrast to Jio, the Rs. 448 plan of Airtel, which had a validity of 70 days and users used to get high speed 1GB of data per day was earlier revised by Airtel. In lieu of a total 70GB 4G data, the users after revision were offered 82 GB of data by Airtel. This means that the validity got increased by Airtel in this recharge plan from 72 days to 82 days. Certainly, in addition to this Airtel is also providing the bundled calls, free 100 SMSes per day, subscription to Wynk Music as well as Airtel TV apps with free-roaming outgoing calls.

No one knows who will win this competition Airtel or Jio, but one thing is definite that the users will benefit from this war of recharge plans.
