Reliance Jio has created a very strong impact in the industry of telecommunication and its plans and tariff rates has in a way revolutionized the data consumption of the users. Now, according to reports the company may have laid stress its focus on the laptop market and is going to launch laptops that will run on Windows 10 and will have the built in provision of cellular connectivity.

According to the reports of The Economic Times Reliance Jio is having a talk with the US based company named Qualcomm so that these 4G laptops can be launched. And it is very obvious that these laptops will have the 4G connectivity from Reliance Jio and apart from this Reliance Jio is also talking to Qualcomm in order to launch the 4G feature phones.

The Qualcomm powered laptops will hit the market in the due course of time and the Reliance Jio 4G laptop will take a considerable amount of time to reach the market. This is not the first time when there are rumors about the Reliance Jio 4G laptops with SIM slots. Even last year there were certain similar rumors about this circulating in the web.

According to Miguel Nunes, senior director, product management of Qualcomm technologies, “we have talked to Jio. They could take the device and bundle it with data and content.” Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Mobile Platform is considered to be the future of the mobile laptops that enables computing and always connected PC’s.

There are many companies in the market such ASUS, HP, Lenovo that have already come up with their Snapdragon powered laptops. In the long run we can expect the laptops to have 4G connectivity and batteries that lasts really long and are more durable. This genre of laptop is considered to be the future of mobile computing. According to the present scenario of the mobile and telecommunication industry of India, 1 GB data will cost something around Rs 20 or will be under that. And this time will be the most appropriate for the users as they will not have to pay huge data charges for the 4G connectivity.
