Asus is on a roll with the introduction of new models specific to a certain task. While some are capable of running heavy duty apps, other have the capability of capturing vivid photos. The Taiwanese phone maker has just introduced the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro, four different models with specialities in clicking impressive images.

The ZenFone 4 is shod with a dual rear camera setup with the primary camera being a 12MP Sony IMX362 dual pixel image sensor with 1.4-micron pixels for all ZenFone 4 models. The secondary camera, however, differs for the ZenFone 4 which has a 120-degree wide-angle lens while the Pro models have 2X optical zoom, a 16 MP Sony IMX351 sensor for crisp photos. The front camera is an 8MP unit for all models, however, the ZenFone 4 is shod with f/2.0 aperture with 84-degree wide angle. The ZenFone 4 Pro has an IMX319 sensor with f/1.9 aperture and an 87.4 wide angle lens.

All models of the Asus ZenFone 4 series are powered by the mid-range SoC processors except for the flagship version which is offered with a Snapdragon 835 SoC unit. They all run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out of the box. All models also support dual SIM card support with a hybrid tray for microSD card. The ZenFone 4 is available in two processor and RAM variants, a 4GB RAM Snapdragon 660 SoC and a 6GB RAM Snapdragon 630 SoC processor.

The ZenFone 4 series is priced from $399 (~Rs 26,000) and $599 (~Rs 38,000). That makes the Asus ZenFone 4 series an absolute cracker with regards to its performance.
