Flipkart is offering the Samsung Galaxy S7 for a discounted price of Rs 29,990 during its Big Shopping Days event. The online retail website is providing a whooping Rs 16,010 discount bringing cost of phone from 46,000 to 29,990, according to Flipkart. Btu as always, there is a catch.

The Flipkart is claiming a hefty discount on the Galaxy S7, but it is not as hefty as Flipkart claims to be. The Samsung Galaxy S7 was launched in March 2016 and it was priced at Rs 48,900 at the time of launch. The phone received an official price cut bringing the price of the phone down to Rs 43,400. The phone is now selling at a price as low as Rs 39,400 across almost all the offline and online channels bringing the actual discount on the Samsung Galaxy S7 from Rs 16,010 to Rs 9,410.

There are additional benefits including Rs 5000 off on regular exchange while up to Rs 23,000 off on exchange. Interested buyers can also avail additional 10% discount by using SBI credit card.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display that comes with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 Octa processor coupled with Mali-T880 MP12 GPU. The phone offers 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB that can further be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

In terms of optics, the device sports a 12MP camera sensor on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. The camera is capable of recording 4K videos and comes with touch focus, auto-HDR and much more.
