The rumors floating in China and permeating to India are that the new series will have waterproof, shockproof and dustproof chassis.  This means that will bring the company into the elite league of smartphone OEMs such as Motorola, Sony, LG, Apple and Samsung.

Earlier, the CEO of the company expressed the intention of the company that consumers need to dip into their pockets if they want water resistant phones. This means if the smartphone will carry the defense features, then the prices would surely get soared, which is not much of a Xiaomi style. Mostly, all the devices of Xiaomi are known for its affordable prices and cost-effective features. The time will only tell how much this step will be appreciated by the users.

As of now, Xiaomi Mi 7 is rumored to get released in the first quarter of the next year. It is expected to be donning a huge display of 6 inches with a full-screen design. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and might also run support for Qi wireless charging. This is one of the unique features that users are appreciating these days.
