Earlier, it was speculated that the Chinese company, Huawei will be rolling out its flagship device – the successor of Huawei P10 at the Mobile World Congress, 2018 in Barcelona, but now it is rumored that the tech giant will not be launching the handset to avoid the competition from its counterpart Samsung, which will be releasing Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. Nevertheless, the rumor mill is still busy in revealing some fresh information related to the successor of Huawei P10. Recently, the tipster Roland Quandt has tweeted that this device which was expected to be named as Huawei P11 will now be named as Huawei P20.

Interestingly, he has also highlighted that the device Huawei P20 will be released in three variants and all the three will be codenamed on the three Bronte sisters – Charlotte, Emily and Anne. The handset Huawei P20 wll be codenamed “Emily”, P20 Plus as “Charlotte” and P20 Lite as “Anne”. Whether all the three models will be intriguing or not, but one can see that the codenames are interesting. On one hand, the Huawei P20 is expected to be launched in two colors – Ceramic Black and Twilight colors with the P20 Plus, while the P20 Lite will be available in three attractive colors — Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Klein Blue.

If one may recall, earlier it was also reported that Huawei P10 successor will be called P20, but later with the Huawei P11 and Huawei P12 making their way on the official website, it became confusing. Now, it is clear that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be going with the P20 series, as in US “Huawei P20” trademark was filed earlier. As far as specifications are concerned, it is speculated that the device will be carrying thinner bezels in comparison to Huawei P10 and will be powered Huawei latest Kirin 970 AI processor with the latest EMUI 8.0 operating system based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
