After releasing InFocus Vision 3 smartphone in December, 2017 in the Indian market, the Oregon based US company has now launched its latest entry-level smartphone InFocus A2 in India. To challenge its major counterpart Xiaomi Redmi 5A, this device supports 4G VoLTE and is available in Black and Champagne Gold color options.

InFocus A2 Price and Availability

The InFocus A2 phone carries a price tag of Rs. 5,199 and will be available for sale through offline retailers only. Furthermore, the InFocus A2 comes with launch offers for Reliance Jio users as well as MobiKwik users. The Jio subscribers can avail up to 30GB of additional 4G data by purchasing the handset and on the other hand the MobiKwik users can additionally receive Rs. 300 as cashback on the purchase of the handset by using the e-wallet.

Powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 chipset, which is clocked at 1.3GHz, the device InFocus A2 sports a 5-inch HD display of screen resolution 720×1280 pixels accompanied with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat in addition to 360 User Interface running on top. Till now, it is unknown whether the smartphone will get an Android Oreo update, as no promises are made by InFocus. With respect to this Oreo update, the device falls behind Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which has received the update recently.

InFocus A2 camera

On the photography end, the InFocus A2 device carries a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. Interestingly, this camera at the back of the handset is accompanied by some interesting features such as FaceCute, innovative camera filters, pro mode and zero to seven beauty levels. The selfie snapper is a 5-megapixel camera with no LED flash.

The memory configuration of the device is 2GB of RAM with 16GB onboard storage capacity, which is expandable up to 16G via microSD card slot and it is packed with a 2400mAh battery. In terms of Connectivity, the handset includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Micro-USB port and 4G VoLTE. There are no fingerprint scanner and the dimension measures 143.9×71.7×8.9mm.
