The much awaited iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were finally launched on September 12 and went on sale in India on September 29. Several offers came up prior to the phones’ launch and few came during the Amazon and Flipkart sales the week after as well.

Further in the lieu of cashback offers, Paytm and Yes Bank have now come together and are offering tempting cashback offers. These offers are valid from Tuesday, October 10 to Thursday, October 12. Buyers are eligible to avail up to Rs. 15,000 in cashback on Paytm wallet, making this quite a profitable deal.

iPhone 8 Plus

It should be noted that this cashback offer on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is valid only on the Paytm app or website. Also, the Yes Bank credit card users who buy either of these Apple smartphones from the Paytm website or app will get additional Rs. 6,000 cashback and this is in addition to the Rs. 9,000 cashback that is being offered by Paytm. From the total of Rs. 15,000, the Rs. 6,000 cashback will be transferred back to the Paytm wallet on or before November 20. While the Rs. 9,000 cashback will come back to the user within 24 hours of the product getting shipped.

What you need to remember is that the Rs. 9,000 cashback offer on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is anyways applicable if the buyer utilises a means of payment that is different from Yes Bank credit cards. But he/she will not be eligible for the Rs. 6,000 cashback offer for it is meant only for Yes Bank credit card users who are buying the Apple smartphones from the Paytm website or app. Paytm also notes that the offer is valid only until stocks last.

To get a picture of what you will be paying for these phones- the iPhone 8 is priced at Rs. 64,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 77,000 for the 256GB storage variant in India. Whereas, iPhone 8 Plus 64GB and 256GB storage variants are priced at Rs. 73,000 and Rs. 86,000, respectively.

Its clear that you are eagerly waiting for the iPhone X, it’s the coolest thing in town after all. But you still have to wait till November to get your hands on one of those. You could be extremely patient or just go with one of these while the cashback offers are still available. It isn’t such a bad deal. And it is indeed a good jump from the previous phone.
