LG announced its flagship device the, LG V30 at IFA this year and since then it is only available in selected markets. The device is yet to be launched in India. A report from PhoneRadar suggests that LG V30 will launch in India next month.

Citing a reliable source, Phone Radar further reported that the device will be launched in India at a price of Rs 47,990. Whatever the asking price, the device will have to face direct competition against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel 2 XL, iPhone 8, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. However, the exact date of launch of the [hone has not been specified.

LG V30 features a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and curved glass on the front and rear. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.35GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The device comes in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB that can further be expanded up to 2TB.

In terms of optics, the LG V30 dons a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP camera sensor that has an aperture of f/1.6 and a 13MP camera sensor that features an aperture of f/1.9 and 120-degree wide angle lens. For clearer photos, the device features optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization along with the Hybrid Auto Focus. There is also a 5MP camera sensor on the front that has a 90-degree angle of view.

The smartphone comes with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support and is backed by a 3300mAh battery. The LG v30 comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. The phone is IP68 certified water and dust resistant and also comes with MIL-STD-810G certification. The power button is integrated with the fingerprint sensor and has been on the rear.
