Moto Z 2018 Kingsman Special Edition Launched At A Cost More Than iPhone X

Similar to the dual camera setup and bezel-less display, it seems that costlier smartphones are going to the new trend in the upcoming years. it is the price of the smartphones that companies are going to target now. Recently, we saw Apple launching the costliest smartphone the at a price of Rs 89,000 and now it is Lenovo owned Motorola that has unveiled a smartphone that costs even the more than the iPhone X. The Motorola announced the Moto Z 2018 and Moto Z 2018 Kingsman Special Edition in China on Wednesday. The smartphone was first launched in Europe and USA back in July with the name ‘Moto Z Force Edition’.

The Moto Z 2018 is made entirely of series 7000 aluminum body and comes with a design similar to the Moto Z Force Edition that features a brushed metal rear design, redesigned moto mod connector pins, with all-around antenna line, and a glass front. The Motorola branding lies on the back of the new Moto Z 2018 and has been given a gold finishing instead of the black color.

In terms of specifications, the device comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED ShatterShield 2K display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. the smartphone offers 128GB storage that can be expanded up to 2TB using a MicroSD card slot. The camera set is similar to Moto Z force edition and includes a dual Sony IMX386 12MP rear cameras one of which is monochrome one and another RGB one. There is a 5MP OmniVision 5695 front selfie shooter with LED flash.

The device drives its juice from 3490mAh battery that features TurboPower charging. The smartphone comes with a Moto Style Mod that allows wireless charging. Motorola has replaced the audio jack with a USB-C 3.1 port at the bottom. In the box, it will come with USB-C earphones which it claims to be world’s first USB-C Hi-Fi headphones. The device runs on Android Nougat with a planned upgrade to Android Oreo soon. The special edition phone is expected to be priced above Rs 1,00,000.
