In Berlin, IFA 2017 this smartphone was introduced in both Android Nougat and Android One variant. Although, the company hasn’t wiped out the fog that which device it will launch in India. Still, it is expected that the black and blue coloured MotoX, which was released in Europe, will make this time to India. The price of this was €399 in the European market, which is approximately 30,000 INR when directly converted.

Price and Availability

In India, MotoX4 is expected to be released at around Rs. 23,999 as it is a mid-range device. Nothing could be said in a certain manner as all the things are still in the pipeline. This smartphone was to be launched in October itself but got delayed due to unknown reasons.

Specifications

With a 5.2-inch Full HD display and metal cased glass back, the MotoX4 is definitely going to lure users. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor, this device is a mid-range smartphone. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while earlier it was rumored that the Indian variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device is also powered with 3000mAh battery and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Moto X4

With respect to connectivity, the Moto X4 comes with Wi-Fi. The other attractive features of the device include GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C and Bluetooth v5.0. The most striking feature that could challenge Nokia 9 in the future is the IP68 certification of water resistant and dust. The device weighs 163 grams and has a dimension of 148.35×73.4×7.99mm. The integrated Amazon’s smart assistant Alexa smartphone MotoX4 appears to be worth buying.

Camera

The camera seems to create an impact on the users with 12MP+8MP dual rear camera setup. There are chances that the consumers could get swayed away from the other brands with respect to the Motorola MotoX4 camera. Here, the primary rear camera of 12MP sensor sports f/2.0 aperture. The 8MP sensor secondary camera uses a wide-angle lens with a f/2.2 aperture. The company leaves no loophole in this feature as it also comes up with f/2.0 aperture 16MP front-facing camera. There is also LED flashlight dedicated to the camera for high-quality pixels in the dark light.

Now, the question is that whether in one of the most competitive markets like India, will it be able to retain its ground, when other options are looking more promising, such as Redmi Y1, OnePlus5, LG Pixel 2XL, and much more to come like the Nokia 9.
