According to recent reports, Nokia is all set to reveal its next flagship in the global market. Yes, Nokia 8 is set to launch on August 16 in one of the company’s event in London. The launch event is set to take place at 7.30 PM local time (12 AM IST on August 17). The company has a lot of expectation from its next flagship and with Android as the operating system on the phone, Nokia is again looking to capture leading position in the market.

With the latest invites by the company, it has proved all the speculations wrong which suggested the launch of Nokia 8 on July 31. With the next flagship, Nokia will be bringing the power of Carl Zeiss optics to its Android device. The company has already announced its partnership with Carl Zeiss for implementing the images sensors in its devices to give a better image quality experience.

Nokia 8 Specifications

Nokia 8 is expected to feature a 5.3-inch display with a Quad HD 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution. POwering the phone will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset which will be coupled to either a 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. For imaging, the NOkia 8 will feature a 13MP dual camera setup powered by Carl Zeiss. The phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is expected to hold a price tag of Rs 44,500 approximately.
