OnePlus’ recently announced flagship device, OnePlus 5T will go for sale for the first time in India today from 4:30 pm IST. The sale is exclusively available for Amazon Prime customers while the open sale will start from November 28. Interested buyers can take part in the early access sale from Amazon India, Oneplusstore.in and OnePlus Experience Store. OnePlus 5T is a bezel-less smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer and will go for sale in US and UK simultaneously.
OnePlus 5T Price And Launch Offers
The OnePlus comes in two variants – 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage- priced at Rs 32,999 and 37,999 respectively. The phone is available in only on colour variant i.e. Midnight Black.
Launch offers includes Rs 1,500 cashback on purchase from HDFC Bank credit and debit card, 1-year free membership to Zomato Gold and one year Servify accidental damage insurance plan from Kotak (requires installing Kotak 811 app and activating account with a Rs 1,000). Telecom offers include 1008GB 4G mobile data from Idea that gives access to Rs 347 per month pack offering 2GB data per day for a period of 18 months. Other offers include Rs 500 Kindle store credit, Rs 300 Amazon Pay balance. Cashback offers include Rs 300 Amazon Pay balance cashback for new Amazon Prime customers.
The company has also introduced a Referral Leaderboard which provides Rs 1000 off on OnePlus accessories to referred OnePlus 5T buyer on OnePlusStore.in, valid from November 21 to November 30. Also, each referrer will get 200 redeemable points on every referral.
OnePlus 5T Specifications
OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch AMOLED bezel-less display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 401ppi, protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat atop OxygenOS 4.7 and will receive the Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of December this year.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 5T sports a dual camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel with Sony IMX398 with 1.12-micron pixels wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.7. The second sensor is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376K telephoto lens. The phone features a new ‘Intelligent Pixel Technology’ for capturing beautiful images even in low light conditions. There is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor for capturing better selfies and video calling. The phone is powered by a 3300mAh battery that supports Dash Charging, company’s fast charging facility.
