Oppo is not going to let this year end with Xiaomi making only sale of its products, so the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has cut the price of the handset Oppo F3 in the Indian market. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based smartphone could be bought now at Rs. 16,990. Undoubtedly, with features like Smart Facial Recognition, the device is a good option at this rate. The smartphone could automatically suggest the users, which lens is the best suited for the self-portrait shots.

Interestingly, the slashed price has been updated by offline retailers, but the online stores such as Amazon and Flipkart haven’t made it clear. Still, one can buy it from today onwards online at the new price. It is not the first time that the company has lowered the price of this smartphone. Even during Diwali, with the launch of its Diwali Edition, the original Oppo F3 price was cut down by Rs. 1000. The smartphone was released in May in the Indian market at Rs. 19,990 and was lauded by the critics and users for its specs.

The device sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and runs on ColorOS 3.0. Powered by a 1.5GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6750T6 SoC, this device has a 3200mAh non-removable battery. Even the Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM is a good feature when coupled with 64GB of onboard storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The in-Cell 2.5D curved display and an amazing Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection makes it super cool with respect to its appearance.
